Polyester matrices designed for use with retainers for restorations

AnGer Shaped Polyester Matrices provide a firm hold without causing unnecessary deformations.

AnGer Shaped Polyester Matrices are designed for work with retainers (tensors) for premolar and molar Class II restorations.

These matrices provide a firm hold without causing unnecessary deformations.

Once a tooth is ready for filling:

1. Pick an appropriate size of matrice and fasten it on the retainer (tensor).
2. Place shaped polyester matrix around tooth.
3. Slide matrice on--brim with two curves towards gum.

If the interdental gap is too tight and there is a problem with placing the matrix over a tooth, AnGer Interdental Wedges can be used. Insert the wedges in between teeth to gently widen the gap.

This makes it possible to move the matrix around the tooth and fit it to the tooth's shape. Then remove the wedge and slide the matrix down the tooth to place it in the appropriate position. Next, insert the wedges once again (two wedges yield a better result) to press the matrix to the tooth.

IF inserted correctly and secured with transparent wedges, the matriix helps make work easy and can provide high quality and precision of reconstruction. During polymerization, the wedges allow simultaneous illumination of the entire filling surface.

For Class II premolar restorations, it is recommended to use AnGer Shaped Polyester Matrices with a self-locking metal ring. Since there is no need to employ additional tools or instruments (those heavy metal holders or retainers) necessary with other types of matrices), AnGer Matrices can help provide comfort for dentists and patients. Once a tooth is ready for filling:

1. Apply matrix with self-locking metal ring to tooth
2. Slide the matrix on--brim with two curves towards gum
3. Tighten matrix by flattening ring--vstarting at the very tip of metal plate-flat section
4. When metal ring is locked, bend metal plate aside to ensure work conditions
5. Secure polyester matrix using one of AnGer light-conductive interdental wedges
6. When tooth is ready, fill defect with chosen material and harden with polymerized light
