Curative Bioceramseal is a premixed, ready to use injectable bio-ceram sealing material, which has been

 

innovated for permanent root canal lling.

 

Composition:

 

Calcium oxides, Mineral trioxide aggregate ( M.T.A), Titanium dioxide, Silicon dioxide, Aluminum oxide , barium

 

sulfate , calcium sulfate  and calcium carbonate .

 

Indication:

 

1- Root Canal Obturation and sealing material.

 

2- Direct and indirect pulp capping.

 

3- Apexication and retro-grade lling.

 

4- Perforations and resorption.

 

Mode of action:

 

Unlike traditional sealers, Curative Bioceramseal is a very unique formula, accounts for it’s bioactivity and

 

inductivity which utilize natural moisture of the dentine, for initiating it’s setting reaction.Forming hydroxyapa-

 

tite upon setting, it’s high wettability, hydrophilic properties, and sealing ability, leads to forming interstitial 

 

layer with the dentine. 

 

Curative Bioceramseal is highly alkaline PH with low viscosity allowing it’s reach to the apical part of the canal

 

even the narrow ones ,with a unique distribution of particles in regards of the size and form, exabits not only

 

zero shrinkage, but minimal expansion upon setting leads to perfect sealing to the canal and the accessory

 

canals as well.

Application:

 

1.

Ensure proper isolation of the teeth.

 

2.

CBCS is hydrophilic which initiates its setting reaction with slight moisture so there is no need to over-dry

 

the canal.

 

3.

Insert the needle tip into the canal no further than the middle third.

 

4.

Inject the paste to the middle third and slowly pump it gently to the root apex with the gutta-percha cone.

 

5.

Apical condensation with a heat source to remove the excess of the gutta-percha and sealing material,

 

cone full tting will be remarkable and will lead to excellent hydraulics.

 

6.

Consider the canal walls, Curative Bioceramseal and the gutta-percha as one solid unit.

 

Side effects:

 

Side effects are extremely rare including hypersensitivity

 

Storage / shelf life:

 

Always close the syringe immediately after use. It is recommended to withdraw the plunger shortly after use

and clean the nozzle of the syringe needle
