Curative CAL

 

Immediate inhibition of microbial growth and rapid invasion to dentinal tubules are keys of

 

excellent results of intercanal medication when extensive pathosis is present.

 

Curative CAL is broad-spectrum, rapid onset and antimicrobial calcium hydroxide gel.

 

Used as inter-appointment intra-canal medicament with calcium and antiseptic ions, which are

 

not captured in chemicals or light-cured compounds.

 

Curative CAL is a one component, radiopaque and water soluble injectable calcium hydroxide

 

gel which can eliminate all of micro-organisms in infected root canals.

 

Properties:

 

1- Acts as barrier for ingress of bacteria.

 

2- Got antiseptic effect.

 

3- Able to dissolve necrotic tissues.

 

4- Antimicrobial action.

 

5- Rapid destructive effect on bacterial cell membrane, and suppression of lymphocytes action.

 

6- inhibits DNA duplication.

 

Side effects:

 

Side effects are extremely rare including hypersensitivity

 

Storage / shelf life:

 

Always close the syringe immediately after use. It is recommended to withdraw the plunger

shortly after use and clean the nozzle of the syringe needle
