Chemically stable EDTA gel for chemical and mechanical
cleanse of root canal.
Properties:
- Helps in lubricating endodontic instruments during root
canal preparation.
- Enhance the calcium salt chelating effect.
- Removes the smear layer of the prepared root canal.
- May help to the access into calcified root canals.
Curative EDTA ways of irrigation:
- EDTA contains 10% carbamide which promotes the internal
bleaching when irrigated by hypochlorite.
- Removing of dissolved debris by effervescence effect, when
peroxides are used in irrigation of Curative EDTA.
