Epoxydin® Duo
Epoxy resin-based dental material for root canal filling
Available in a double syringe (dispenser).
The material contains epoxy resin, amine hardener, filler, plasticizer and zirconium oxide as a radiopaque additive.When mixing white and yellow paste in equal volumes, a plastic mass is obtained with a film thickness of not more than 20 microns, which is easily inserted on gutta-percha pins and seals the root canals well. At room temperature (20-23) ºC, the paste can be used within 2 hours. In the root canal, the material hardens within 24 hours to form a bioinert aminopolymer with high adhesion and low solubility.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
- Root canal filling of permanent teeth in combination with intracanal pins
ADVANTAGES
